❦ E is the Magic Number ❦

Every Wednesday in October we're inviting a guest chef from a favourite restaurant based within the local(e) 'E_' postcodes in to take over the kitchen and hifi for a one night stand.

On the bill is Chick n' Sours mastermind Carl Clarke, the friendly narroway neighbours at Tonkotsu (Dave Wrigley and Tom Wykes), Magnus Reid from Morning Lane's luscious Legs and Rob Sachdev from The Quality Chop House.

Expect the chefs to whip up some easy aperitif style treats, join in on some fine drinks at the bar and then jump on the stereo to indulge in some deep, dark guilty kitchen pleasures.

London Cocktail Week ☛

Next week the bar is being taken over by two of our favourite brands for LCW. Starward Whisky have only had their wine cask in the UK a week (*we are the only bar currently stocking it*) but they are already top of our pops with a scintillating double Solera Whisky offering from Down Under. Aged for just 3 years they are producing a malt and shiraz cask that rival many of our favourite 8 to 12 yo Scotch Whiskys. Blasphemy? Come see for yourself...

The other half of the bar will be helmed by Berlin's Belsazar Vermouth. Bringing a bit of the Grey City's knowingly decadent charms to the fortified wine game, these guys use prime fresh bio-dynamic German juice as a base making the range a real go to for us since we were first acquainted two years ago. 

There will be a special menu for the week celebrating both products; snacks to match and two masterclasses with each brand respectively on the Tuesday (Starward) and Thursday (Belsazar) from 6-7 pm.

We held off for the equinox (as you should) but we finally kissed summer goodbye last week and launched our Autumn Drinks menu to a spectacular fanfare ✰✰✰

There's 6 delectable new drinks on an odd-galvanised never-ending-Brexit-theme for you to discover; but, most excitingly, we've upped our Happy Hour game to provide a real 'aperitvo' experience...
